Bua Nalinthip Shares Moment of Marriage Proposal, Explains Why She Kept Relationship Private Until Surprise Announcement

Bua Nalinthip has officially become a bride-to-be. Bua Nalinthip was recently surprised by her boyfriend, Win Weeraphan, who kneeled in a warm yet simple atmosphere to propose during their vacation in Japan, a moment that many have joyfully celebrated.

Recently, Bua attended the 2026 TrueVisions Now original content lineup event on the 5th floor of Sphere Hall at EMSPHERE shopping center, where she gave her first interview since the proposal, saying,

"It was very surprising. I had no idea on that day. My friends already knew, and they had known for many months. As everyone saw, there were some signs. We talked about it a bit, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon, so it was quite a shock."

"The Japan trip was planned long ago because I love visiting Japan every year, especially during the autumn leaves season. But I never expected to be surprised like that. The outfit I wore that day was a coincidence—I initially chose another color but felt somehow inspired to change, fearing the first choice might not look good."

"When he proposed, I thought I had been proposed to many times in TV series, but the real feeling was completely different. I was really shocked and didn't know how to react. Win was also nervous."

"I had no idea he had planned this with friends. I just noticed that recently he was messaging a lot on Line, which was unusual. Normally, he doesn't shop much, but this time he tried on many outfits and bought lots of things. I found it a bit suspicious but never really thought about a proposal."

When asked about her previous statement that she wouldn’t reveal her boyfriend but would surprise everyone with a proposal, Bua said, "Everyone must have been very shocked. We have been together a long time. The time people thought I revealed him was just an anniversary when I posted a picture. Then, a few days later, he proposed. I’m very happy, as you can see."

Regarding people looking into Win’s background, she said, "He doesn’t mind. He’s an ordinary person but was a bit overwhelmed at first. I initially gave him privacy because I was worried about public attention affecting his work life. I wanted to give him space, and things are still normal now."

As for wedding plans, she said, "There is none yet. We need to check auspicious dates first. We are not sure if it will be this year. We are serious about auspicious timings—even changing phones or leaving the house, we check the colors and timing carefully. Once the date is set, everyone may know."

"My feelings are the same but now it’s special because we’ve moved to another step. For the wedding, I like things simple, not too extravagant—just inviting loved ones to a warm, lovely meal at home. I don’t think it will be a big event. Also, the groom is very romantic and sweet."
