Thisa Feels More at Ease After Reuniting with Gun Napat, Still Single and Focused on Work

The relationship between the leading actress continues to draw attention. Thisa Waritthisa Limthammahisorn, and the singer, Gun Napat Inthjauea, who recently appeared together on the show "Sing Across the Wall," delighting fans. Most recently, Thairath Entertainment met Thisa at the launch of the multiverse series “Bupphesanniwat” at Khao Phra Pier, Wat Pho, to get updates on this and their relationship status.

Are you single now?

"Yes (laughs). Have people introduced anyone? Maybe a few, but since I’m freelancing, I feel like I’m focusing much more on work. With many opportunities coming up lately, I want to focus on my career first. I’m not completely closing myself off, but if something comes along, I’d prefer to work first."

You and Gun Napat recently sang together again on "Sing Across the Wall." Fans are shipping you two again?

"Actually, Thisa finds it quite sweet because it was a long time ago. Getting the chance to meet again, we feel that fans warmly welcomed both of us and remembered us. It’s lovely. I feel more comfortable working with him now. Before, it wasn’t as easy to be comfortable working together, but now it feels much better."

Have you talked to Gun about the news?

"Honestly, we don’t talk much about it (laughs). We haven’t discussed the news much because right now, we’re both relaxed. I see some news occasionally, sometimes fans tag me, but I don’t follow it closely. I just feel calm and let things happen naturally, so there’s no pressure or stress about how things should be."

Many fans hope you two get back together. Do you think that’s possible?

"As I said, since we’re not focused on what it has to be, I don’t feel like it has to follow steps 1, 2, 3, or 4 and then go somewhere. That’s not the case at all. Right now, it’s a feeling of friends meeting again and feeling comfortable with each other."

So the friendship lasts longer?

"Maybe so. I have to say there’s no expectation about what meeting again means. Whether we have to be friends or something else—there’s nothing like that. We just met and worked together. Honestly, before, it wasn’t easy to meet again, but having the chance now, we both feel comfortable."

Any projects together?

"Not yet. Oh, actually we might appear on his show '4 Poadum'—it hasn’t aired yet, probably February soon. We’ve already filmed it. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed because it’s a comedic show. As I said, feeling comfortable helps the flow and smooth work, and chatting is easy."

Since it’s '4 Poadum' drama, are fans curious about your character?

"(Smiles) We’ll see. I’m not sure when it will air."

When you sang on "Sing Across the Wall," did he help teach you the song?

"(Laughs) No help at all. We just shared ideas about song choices. It’s each person’s responsibility because the show divides who sings which part."

Who chose the song "Don’t Need to Know What Kind of Relationship We Have"?

"Behind the scenes, he chose it. Actually, after the wall, he picked it. Then the team let us know if we were okay with the song. Ultimately, Gun chose the song. After it was decided, the show divided the parts for each person to sing, with sections before and after the wall."

Was the song difficult for you?

"To be honest, from the list they sent for me to choose from, this song was the easiest (laughs). He’s a singer, so he can sing any song. I was like, ‘Do you think I can sing this?’ So we settled on this song, which is a good middle ground for both of us and for the parts before and after the wall. All three of us had to agree on the song."
