Many people have sent their support to Deaw Dok Sadao, the famous comedian who is currently suffering from a stroke and undergoing treatment at a patient shelter center.
However, many wonder why Deaw was placed in the patient shelter center. Recently, Ple Napath, Deaw Dok Sadao’s daughter, gave an interview about this to Thairath Entertainment, saying
"Do negative comments affect your morale?"
"Sometimes they do. But when I think about it, I know that I have done my best as a daughter, and those around us see how we care for him. So, it doesn’t stress me too much. Deep down, I know what I have done because goodness never dies."
Is Deaw still unable to speak?
"Not yet. He can’t speak yet. Everything requires retraining. My father is like a child now, relearning everything. But he is aware of everything and remembers everyone. Friends take turns visiting him. Many love him very much. I’m very happy to see how much everyone cares for him. We all want to be good people like him so that we, too, can be loved by many."
Many wonder why your father was placed in the patient shelter center?
"Putting my father in the center helps reduce our stress and prevents us from getting frustrated with the patient. The care is also cleaner. Here, we can stay with him, so it’s like being at home. Dad is with us all the time. It’s not like we abandoned him or only visit once a week. We are here every day from morning to evening; at night, we sleep here too. Sometimes siblings or others visit, but I am the main caregiver. There are physical therapists constantly caring for him. They take good care of everything, including managing his meals, so we don’t have to prepare food ourselves. Everything is provided here. It’s clean, and the staff speak kindly and love my father. He is happy here."
