After the well-known comedian Deaw Doksadao was being treated for a stroke (brainstem hemorrhage), many fans were concerned and sent numerous messages of support. Recently, Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment met Ped Chernyim, one of Deaw's close friends, to inquire about Deaw's health condition.
"He is better now. This illness depends a lot on morale. Just yesterday, we were FaceTiming and encouraging each other, which helped him improve. Thanks to Off Pongpat and Daeng Tanya for recommending this doctor who uses magnetic energy therapy. It has sped up his recovery. He can now sit in a wheelchair. Currently, he is practicing swallowing saliva. As soon as they removed the tube, he was able to speak as before—it’s like a miracle."
"We keep in constant contact. His brain remembers everything. If you sing a song, he will follow along, though silently. When invited to pay respects at a temple, he makes an OK gesture with his hand."
"I have known Deaw since 1977. He has been like a brother, friend, and teacher—all things in my life. We have never been apart for long and have been together for a very long time. Therefore, one thing I want to give him is happiness. Encouragement is very important. All comedians are supporting him."
"Thanks to all the fans for their support and encouragement. Deaw is someone who gives everything but never speaks ill of others. This is Deaw Doksadao—a kind-hearted person who keeps anger inside and never shows it. If he dislikes something, he just walks away and never argues with anyone."
