They were a couple who had been together for more than 29 years before their world fell apart upon discovering that the man was living a double life. This was the case for former actor Poo Kanokwan and Der Dok Sadao whom many regard as a master in the comedy industry.
Their relationship was previously seen as unlikely to last long because Der was a flirtatious comedian, but eventually Poo decided to marry the senior comedian, who was 15 years her senior.
From that day until today, Poo and Der have been together for over 29 years, with a daughter named Prai, born after more than 8 years of marriage. Their love has remained sweet, and Poo often shares heartfelt stories about her husband on Facebook, saying that no matter how much time passes, his words from day one have proven his consistency. Followers often admire this couple's charm.
However, their long-lasting love eventually collapsed when Poo discovered that Der had been hiding another life for over 29 years—a secret relationship. She was shocked because she believed he had ended things with that other woman. The shock deepened when she unexpectedly met that woman while visiting Der at a rehabilitation center, where he was recovering from a stroke.
Poo recounted the painful moment when that woman said to her, “I’m sorry for everything that happened before. We’re not angry anymore, right? We’re old now,” leaving Poo speechless. Ultimately, she decided to break up with her husband while he was lying in a hospital bed, wishing him a speedy recovery before leaving in tears.
