Boss Aewwan Still Single, Denies Secretly Dating Lamyai Haitongkham, Reveals Preference for Fit Partners in the Same Industry

The relationship between Boss Aewwan the popular male dancer and Lamyai Haitongkham remains a topic fans are closely watching. After photos appeared from Lamyai's birthday trip in Japan, which Boss also attended, along with AI-generated images that many interpreted as couple photos, speculation arose about whether they were secretly dating.

Recently, we met Boss at the blessing ceremony for the film “Ai Tao Aewwan” at Lan Hin Khad, Aewnew Major Ratchayothin. Boss clarified his status with Lamyai, saying they are like siblings supporting each other professionally and that he is currently single. When asked about the future, he replied in typical celebrity style, saying it’s a matter for the future.

Any updates on your love life right now?

“I’m single these days. (When weren’t you single?) That’s about it (laughs).”

Were you not single before?

“How many days ago was that? (Referring to the trip abroad?) Oh, I was single, single.”

But there were story posts that made it seem like you weren’t single, like couple photos?

“Maybe you’re just imagining it. (The captions seemed connected?) Whatever was written, I only posted emojis myself.”

Many are watching your status with Lamyai?

“I’m single. Lamyai is like a sister. We don’t have any problems. What’s past is past. We just work in the same field and support each other to some extent. In terms of dancing, I’ve helped oversee some dancer details. It’s like mutual support.”

So you still talk and meet often?

“If there’s work, they contact me. I also go to rehearse with the dancers.”

Now that Prajakchai has opened more opportunities for kids in the camp, like you two, is he okay with you talking? He said he doesn’t block it?

“Answering like a celebrity, let’s leave it to the future.”

Have you ever dated?

“I can’t answer that, don’t know. Like a celebrity, focus on the work.”

Netizens have been speculating and shipping you two. Have you seen their feedback?

“If I respond, people will say I’m a celebrity again. No, I want the focus on work. I’m serious about my work and want people to focus on what I produce. I understand people hear rumors, but I’m trying to build my career and want the focus to be on that.”

Do you tease each other when talking about work?

“No, we just talk about work. Only send proposals.”

About the couple photo, people wonder who the cartoon couple Boss posted was?

“Oh, that was AI-generated.”

People say it looks like Lamyai, with a similar outfit?

“If I answer, it’s not. People will just speculate more.”

When dating, how did Lamyai fulfill you?

“I never said we dated (laughs). Did you ask what work I have?”

Do you feel pressured by the attention on your status with Lamyai?

“My social media is normal. It’s understandable. But when people ask me directly, I start to feel tense.”

Have you talked about the attention you’re getting?

“No.”

Have you traveled together recently aside from work?

“No. If we have meals, we talk about work, only send proposals.”

Since you said you’re single, are you open to dating?

“I’m open. My type isn’t fixed. Honestly, I like someone with a good figure, someone skilled at something. (Good at singing?) That’s fine. Someone in the same profession would be good because we’d understand each other.”

What work do you have now? I heard you’re busy dancing again?

“Yes, I’m now a full band playing concerts with P’Sun. I don’t want to be a lone tiger; I want to be chased (smiles). Also, I’m doing live sales. You can hire me; contact Khun Lookwai. I’ve helped produce good sales for many, so all brands with 100,000+ sales, just reach out.”

Your first film acting work?

“My first. When I was first contacted to act, I was surprised and lacked confidence. But after reading the script, it wasn’t very different from my real personality. They let me act as myself, and the story relates to my life. That made me relaxed, and it went well.”

In real life you’re 'Aewwan' and in the film too?

“In real life, maybe more 'Aewwan' (smiles). Actually, the lead actor is Tao Yong, not me. Is it a close call? Sorry, maybe I’m leading (laughs). But no, the character’s name was changed to Aewwan. It’s a pity he should be the lead, but in this film, it’s Tao Yong. He acted very well. I watched him perform, and if I acted, maybe I wouldn’t do as well since I’m less experienced.”

Was this your first film? Did you take acting lessons?

“Yes, I trained more. The role isn’t very different from myself, but I learned tricks to build confidence. I’m playing myself.”

They said acting with P’Poj has no script, and you had no script either, is that true?

“I have to clarify a bit. I’m not sure about the process, but I think there’s some script. Mainly, P’Poj gave us the main lines and let us add our personality. Most scenes followed what P’Judy, P’Madeaw, and P’Mamuang guided us to play naturally. Meeting those three was overwhelming. In scenes with them, I had to listen quietly before responding.”

Did you have to take your shirt off in this film?

“At first, I thought I wouldn’t. But in the end, I did. I have to say that period I was eating spicy food, don’t blame me. The director requested it. Whether you’ll see my six-pack, honestly, I haven’t seen the final cut. I’m not confident and felt shy. Normally, I don’t take my shirt off except in private, like in the shower.”
