"Yes, I was indeed ahead of the curve, like igniting a spark. Actually, I interviewed Thim last year on the show 'Sani Bao Dai Bao,' and we asked him about his type, which he hinted at a bit. This year, I had the chance to interview him again since he just returned from abroad. I wanted to update on his life in America and how he was doing with his child studying there.
I also wanted to see if his type had changed after a year, so I kept gently asking. Thim answered some questions but avoided others. When I asked if his type was still the same, he said yes but didn't want to elaborate and I asked if it was within a continent since he travels a lot. He said a nearby continent. When I asked if it was Asia, he confirmed 'this continent'.
Then I asked if it was someone in the entertainment industry, but he didn’t answer and scratched his ear. I said, 'Oh, okay, no answer then.' Not answering is an answer, right? (Did we notice the ear scratching?) Yes.
I teased him about how last year he mentioned going to 'Soi Joo' and asked if he had gone this year. He said not yet, and I noticed a strange smile, like a hint. During a game, I asked about 'Teya Roger,' a slang term in the gay community today, to see if he knew it since we’ve played around with it since last year.
He said, 'Today, no Soi Joo, just Teya Roger.' At that moment, I thought, 'Surely, he’s dropped all the hints.' So, it’s up to the audience to figure it out."

"He likes to be teased. We know how celebrities are—they don’t want to answer directly because they don’t know how the public will react or if it will affect someone else. But when I asked him little by little, I believe we had a few names in mind and just left it for people to guess. I already gave all the hints."
Did you know it was that person?
"I knew, but at that time it hadn’t even been a month yet. I thought he wouldn’t reveal it, but during the interview, he said we’d see soon because he doesn’t hide anything when he goes out, just that there’s no evidence for us to see. I accepted that and kept it private out of respect. Then, on Valentine’s Day, he officially revealed it."
Were you shocked?
"Not shocked, I already knew. I feel Thim is very modern-minded now. He doesn’t think that revealing a relationship will lessen people’s admiration for him. Nowadays, people appreciate a celebrity or politician’s true self rather than their relationship status. It’s not like before when having a partner might cause fans to stop loving you. It’s modern now. I thought he would reveal it eventually; the timing was just a matter of when. It’s better than people finding out on their own and gossiping."
