Punpun explained that she recently discovered an investment she made—around eight figures—had become worthless. About six years ago, a friend recommended a highly promising investment opportunity.,Without much thought, she trusted that it was a good opportunity since the friend was skilled at trading, so she invested money. Initially, the investment seemed to be doing well, so she put in more money. But because she didn’t monitor it, when she tried to withdraw the funds yesterday, everything was gone. She said she sat staring at the ceiling, tears flowing sadly.
Having worked since she was young and saved money, she admits she lacked knowledge about investing and didn’t study it. Now she realizes the importance of learning about investing, acknowledging that investing carries risks and requires proper understanding to grow money.
Her message to everyone is to study thoroughly and not just trust others blindly. She advises gradually practicing, investing, and learning carefully. Think it through, she said, because otherwise the pain is great. She worked hard, and one day the money just disappeared. Talking about it brings her to tears.
