Poo Mantana Shows Victory Sign at Court as Lawyer Reveals Numn Kanchai Rejects Cash Apology

After Numn Kanchai authorized his lawyer to file lawsuits against Poo Mantana on multiple counts of defamation by advertising, recently Lawyer Toi Pornsak Wipasaphanan, who was empowered by Numn Kanchai, went to the Ratchada Criminal Court after the court summoned both plaintiff and defendant to examine evidence.

Lawyer Toi revealed that today's case involves defamation by advertising, the third case filed directly in court, and the fourth already filed in another court, plus one at Tha Kham Police Station, totaling five cases. Today’s hearing involves two cases accepted by the court as having merit, and the court scheduled an evidence review for similar defamation by advertising charges continuing from previous defendant posts.

Numn instructed to file each time a complaint arises, so I manage the cases one by one over months. Today, two cases have been accepted—one already filed, the other under investigation today. These are defamation cases but involve different offenses and times.

Regarding damages, Numn does not seek compensation but insists on criminal punishment only. Today’s hearing involves 22 offenses across four filed cases plus one reported case, totaling 64 offenses, because Numn said if it doesn't stop, he will continue filing.

Today the court scheduled evidence review for one case accepted as having merit. The defendant must request bail or temporary release. Bail is typically required before the hearing. Today’s process may take time and is uncertain as the court may or may not grant bail. I personally filed an objection to temporary release, so it is at the court’s discretion.

If the court denies temporary release, the defendant will go to jail. We await the court’s decision. Bail according to court rules involves a 10,000 baht surety per case. Poo Mantana’s side may already have requested temporary release, but if not today, then later.

Previously, the defendant denied charges in cases accepted as having merit. We believe the defendant will continue denying mentioning Numn Kanchai’s name, which was indeed not stated explicitly. However, there is a connection; the messages did not deny defamation or insult.

Lawyer Toi added that although the defendant denies, many media outlets and multiple YouTube channels have compared data and identified it clearly involves Numn and Poo. They have not had disputes with others. We have evidence showing the defendant meant Numn Kanchai, which was presented in court. The court will decide if the evidence supports the claim.

Counting only the cases Numn filed against Poo Mantana, there are five, including one at Tha Kham Police Station, where she acknowledged the charges. When asked if Poo Mantana filed counterclaims, the lawyer said no.

When asked about Poo Mantana’s post on 11 Feb 2026 saying, "Numn Kanchai, lawyer Kaew, lawyer Toi, you keep suing repeatedly. Withdraw the complaint immediately. Don’t mess with me or I’ll write to the prosecutor and police chief!"

Lawyer Toi explained it is not repeated filing. He filed complaints at Huamak Police Station but due to workload, he filed directly in court. He also informed police to suspend investigation because filing directly is a legal right. The defendant likely misunderstood it as repeated suits. Her post indicates acknowledgment of Numn Kanchai.

When denying posting about anyone, but posting repeatedly, personally I think it might not reach the court’s attention. However, the court accepts posts that tell a story. Thus, posting stories does not mean no defamation, as the posts are connected and continuous.

Lawyer Toi further said Poo’s posts suggest she knows the legal consequences because she has many lawyers around her. Why she continues is uncertain. If it is to vent distress or stress, there are many other ways to do so.

When asked why the court might deny bail, the lawyer said he objected based on repeated behavior showing no respect for the law. She posts constantly. We must wait for the court’s decision. Usually, courts grant bail, but we shall see. Whether she feels comfortable is unknown, as she is a defendant and at risk. Everything she does has consequences.

Lawyer Toi concluded, "If she wants to fight, let her fight. I have prepared defenses well. She must also prepare her defense well; otherwise, she risks going to jail. The prison welcomes everyone who does not repent."

Meanwhile, Poo Mantana arrived at the Criminal Court with her lawyer, smiling brightly and flashing a two-finger peace sign at the media before entering the building.
