It became a hot topic in the beauty pageant circle when Tonkao Pandita former Miss Grand Singburi 2025, held a wedding ceremony with Bang Mad Klongtan also known as Mr. Wanchai Ma-in a former prisoner in a serious criminal case, at Banjongburi Hotel in Surat Thani Province on 20 Feb 2026 GMT+7, amid the joy of their families.
The atmosphere was filled with love and warmth, both touching and romantic. One of the highlights was the bride Tonkao’s heartfelt sharing about why she decided to marry and build a life with Bang Mad.
“Choosing him as my life partner required strong will and resilience. To choose someone who has lived through so much and has had a family before— I feel that being with this man, he takes great care of me. When he took me from my family, he treated me like a precious gem, not like a pebble or sand to be trampled on. That is what impresses me the most about him.
Also, his way of life taught me how to work hard, which helped me have my own career. I’m not rich yet, but I’m trying. Since my husband works hard and gets tired, I can’t just stay at home waiting for money from him. Also, Bang’s daughters, P'Mina and Mintra, are good friends to me. They never see me as an extra in their lives; they stand by me through every problem. I’m very grateful to them.
I also love Bang very much. Every morning and before bed, I tell him I love him. Sometimes I ask if he loves me, every day, until he says, ‘Why do you keep asking? I already love you.’ I want to say I love him every day because life is so uncertain. I want to love him as a good man deserves to be loved.
And I’m thankful that today he chose me as his bride. Honestly, I never thought I’d be wearing a white dress standing here. At 24, I don’t think it’s too early to get married because I’ve already graduated and fulfilled my dream of becoming Miss Grand Singburi 2025. I thank him for choosing me.
