Only Monday Declines to Renew Contract with GMM Music, Requests Songs and MVs Be Restored on Platform

Regarding the case of the young singer Theer Tipakon Kamsuree or Theer Only Monday who faced controversy over a leaked personal clip on social media, causing reputational damage and leading their label GeneLab to impose initial measures including canceling all Only Monday’s scheduled activities, removing their songs from all platforms, initiating discussions to clarify facts, and starting legal investigations.

Recently, the band Only Monday posted an update on their official fan page stating they have contacted GMM Music’s central office to request the songs and music videos be restored on the platform and are awaiting a response, expecting the content to be available again soon. However, the band has decided not to renew their contract because Theer is still undergoing the process of proving his innocence and they do not want to cause trouble for others during this time. The statement reads:

“Hello, we are Only Monday. We would like to provide an update on the band’s current situation. After the label took initial measures to begin discussions, fact-finding, and legal investigation regarding the case where someone uploaded a personal clip of Theer (lead singer) on social media causing reputational damage,

after discussions with GeneLab to reach a conclusion, we want to clarify that the other band members and those involved in the music work have no part or connection to what happened. We have requested GMM Music’s central office to restore our songs and music videos on the platform and are waiting for their response. We expect you to be able to listen to our music again soon. Theer has decided to allocate any streaming income and royalties to his bandmates and will not accept any earnings until he has proven his innocence.”

Regarding Only Monday’s contract with GMM Music, it expired on 21 Feb 2026. We had a discussion with Khun Fahmai, an executive at GMM Music, on 22 Feb, and were offered a contract renewal. The band has decided not to renew the contract because Theer is still in the process of proving his innocence and we do not want to cause trouble for others during this time.”

Currently, we are not signed with any label but remain passionate about music and want to continue playing and working on music projects to support ourselves and our families. Theer accepts and takes responsibility for everything and continues to work on proving himself.

We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us during this time and thank all our fans from the bottom of our hearts. One day, we hope to work again with the team at GeneLab, whom we love and have journeyed with for many years. We ask for your chance to prove Theer’s innocence during this process.”
