Grace Kanklao is among the entertainers troubled daily by the ongoing scammer problem. The actress Grace Kanklao Duaythiengleaw. Recently, she opened up to Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment about this issue, saying it should end now. She said, "These days, we work hard but have no financial security. It's very confusing. Why should we work and make money for others? If someone falls victim, it's like having their life stolen." She also urged the government to address this problem.
, Grace Kanklao said, “I feel this must end now. We work so hard but have no financial security—what is this? I am very confused. Why should we work and earn money for others? Then maybe I should become a scammer too, you know? Why is it so hard to catch them? And if they are caught, then what? Why is everything like this? I feel sorry for the elderly—the money they worked their whole lives for is all gone. Not just the elderly, anyone who falls victim has to start all over. Why scam people like that?”
“These days, I feel very anxious. Whenever I get any notifications, I choose not to open them because I’m scared. I think scams come in so many forms now that sometimes I feel very afraid, worried I won’t keep up one day. I urge the government and cyber police to take care of this. I believe it can be eradicated; it just takes time and serious effort.”
“It hasn’t hit your own wallet yet. If it was your own money, the problem would be solved much faster. I feel like those who haven’t been victimized don’t understand. The money we work hard to earn, our savings—it’s like having our lives stolen.”
