The Mean Speaks Out: Responds to Criticism Over Insincere Apology to OHANA Friends, Reveals Unseen Chat

The drama involving the OHANA group remains a hot topic that many continue to follow. OHANA Recently, The Mean, a former OHANA member, or Pongsathorn Laochantuek, has posted a statement to clarify his perspective after some claimed that since the incident, The Mean has never sincerely apologized to his friends. He said he has apologized and is willing to do so as many times as needed, also revealing chat messages sent to his OHANA friends.

“Regarding the apology, I have already apologized. I have no issue with this. I can apologize as many times as needed.

On 2 October, I apologized to everyone in person at the office on the day everyone learned about the matter. (After the meeting, we shook hands and hugged — that was when I was given a chance by my friends.) Then I went downstairs at the office, met two other friends, apologized to them in person again, said I would continue working, and then left the office.

On 6 October, I typed an apology to everyone again in the group chat. There were responses from friends requesting time to process and asking me to take a break from work and not come to the office, which I fully understood. I accepted and thanked everyone again for giving me another chance in the chat.

Later, I met friends again during a meeting rehearsal. At that time, I talked with one friend about resolving this quietly without letting outsiders know, to preserve our group.

So on rehearsal day, I didn't discuss the issue because many internal and external staff were present. After my part of the rehearsal finished, one friend told me I was done and could leave, reminding me to memorize my lines. So I left early.

Regarding claims that I didn't apologize at all for a month, I'm not sure which point that refers to. But during that month, I was asked not to enter the office or shoot work, which I understood because everyone was angry and didn't want to see me.

Honestly, at that time I didn't dare do anything that might make my friends feel worse. So I chose to respect that decision and did not contact anyone again.

If my decision then was shortsighted or made me appear as if I didn't try to apologize further, I sincerely apologize because it prevented me from having another chance to apologize face-to-face.

I didn't respond or explain details earlier because I wanted to take responsibility and settle my part properly first.

The documents I sent include detailed office expenses to confirm actual costs, separate from the amounts I must reimburse. These do not include fines, interest, or lawyer fees. Once the documents are confirmed, I am ready to reimburse immediately. I have no ill intent whatsoever. I apologize to all my friends again.”
