Recently, Mik Thongraya gave an interview to Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment saying, “A lot of people sent me the news, friends and acquaintances sent it to me many times. So, I called Aum to tease her. I was shy, yes, but I played it cool, saying, “Hello, I’m calling to ask permission to court you, Aum” (laughs). Aum laughed and played along, saying, “Hello, is this Mik, my boyfriend?” (laughs). Aum is very sweet. I was surprised but nothing happened. It's not Mik and Aum, more like M.-A. (ambiguous but likely a joke). Honestly, I want to thank everyone for cheering us on and supporting us. I also saw many clips and smiled along while watching them. I felt shy too. The clips are cute. When I’m with Aum, I’m naturally shy, and when people ask about us, it gets even more intense.”
When asked where the rumors came from, he said, “I don’t know. I don’t know where they came from. Maybe I should just court Aum and give them something to talk about (laughs). Just kidding. I’m shy.”
Asked directly if he dares to court Aum, Mik said, “Oh, honestly, I’d need a lot of courage to court Aum. (So, are you courting her?) Not yet, not yet. (So you are like siblings and still single?) Yes, like siblings.”
He asked people who misunderstand to stop, saying, “M.-A. is not Mik-Aum yet. But thank you for cheering and supporting. Honestly, I’m shy and very thankful (laughs). I’ll go gather my courage first.”
Fans eager for a romance should wait a bit longer, he said, “I don’t know what to say, but honestly, I’m shy.”
Asked if he might instead be paired with producer A Supachai, Mik said, “Maybe (laughs). But everyone is lovely. Aum is kind and always supports me. That’s why there are many cute moments that make people think we’re dating because every time we meet, we hug. Aum says, ‘Mik, since we’ve met, what do we have to do first? We have to hug first.’ It’s adorable.”
Asked if the rumors are a drama promotion, he said, “I don’t think so. Aum has a drama but I’m not in it. It’s not a promotional plan at all. It was a surprise.”
