SHINE BOYS, a Thai idol survival reality show produced by Honey Sugar Thailand, continues to gain strong momentum with its mission to discover a new generation boy group ready to step to the forefront of T-POP. The show is more than a typical talent contest; it is a reality-variety format that allows viewers to closely follow the trainees’ journey from the first day of auditions, through intense training and fierce competition, to the pressure under the spotlight. Every moment serves as a test of their effort and determination to debut with honor.
In the Knock Out Stage 2 held on 25 February, the intensity reached its peak as the 30 contestants took the stage for a decisive round showcasing their full capabilities in singing, dancing, and performance. Ten contestants were eliminated, leaving only the final 20 to continue on the path toward the debut lineup.
The SHINE BOYS PK 2 round featured a competition among four teams presenting both new original songs debuting on the show and cover songs in unique styles. DD Group performed the new song “Day Pop,” while C-tos Group presented “93110,” another new SHINE BOYS track. Thap Group covered the hit song “Darling (ที่รักครับ),” and Ellfa Group covered “Perfect (เป๊ะ),” adding vibrant musical variety and excitement to the stage.
Judging in this round was rigorous and based on evaluations from three main groups: Professional Guest Mentors, including renowned artists Dome Jaruwat, CD Kantheer, and BNK48 seniors Hoop, Pancake, and Popper, who assessed technical skills and professional abilities such as vocal control, dance, and stage performance; Media Guests, who considered market potential and individual charm; and online and studio audience voters, who judged contestants based on their connection with viewers and overall appeal.
Fans can follow SHINE BOYS updates on all official platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube. The show airs every Tuesday at 22:30 on Channel 3HD, with replays available on 3Plus and the SHINE BOYS OFFICIAL YouTube channel.
