Regarding the controversy over Der Dok Sadao's alleged second life, Der Dok Sadao after Poo Kanokwan admitted that she has separated from Der after recently discovering that he had a second life for 29 years.
In response, Khwan, who is perceived as the second life, clarified that she is not a second life and stated that she already has a husband and children. Meanwhile, Ple Napath, Der's daughter, recounted the background of Khwan and confirmed that she truly does not know her.
"Regarding the issue of Khwan, Napath truly does not know her. In 29 years, Napath has never heard any news of her father dating this person or anything. Napath first met her at the hospital when news broke about her father's illness in late August. Her sister told her that if there was anything she could do to repay her father's kindness, to let her know, and she would come to help because she saw me doing everything alone when she visited, since I was the only one staying with my father."
The day I met Khwan at the center was because I truly could not find anyone else. My father was in a single room that required a relative to stay with him 24 hours a day. He was not in a shared room with staff present all the time. I had urgent business to attend to; my younger brother was out of town, and I was caring for my father alone day and night.
Since I couldn't find anyone and remembered Khwan had said to let her know if I needed help, I allowed her to assist. I had no intention or ill will regarding affairs or harming my father's family because during that time, Poo had said to my father,
"What have you done to me? I forgive you and hope you stay with your children because blood is thicker than water." Those words stayed with me. I wondered what they meant—would she no longer visit my father or what? We never talked or asked about it.
Until the day I had to have Khwan take care of my father instead because Poo hadn't come for two weeks. Usually, she came once a week, every Wednesday, for 20-30 minutes. I was the one who cared for my father the entire time since he became ill; I never abandoned him.
Poo told me that I sided with my father, that she knew what he had done and seen it, but she forgave him. I just replied, 'Yes,' and forgave her. It wasn’t me who insisted on forgiveness; I remember this because we traveled together, just the two of us.
Additionally, Ple said, "When I gave interviews, everyone thought I was interfering in the family or after inheritance. I never had that intention. I've been with my father's family for 29 years. If I wanted anything, I would have acted long ago; I didn’t wait until he was ill."
