Namwan, Wife of Navin Tar, Reveals Unacceptable Behavior and Words from the Other Party, Affirms CCTV Footage as Evidence

Namwan Patsavee, wife of singer-actor Navin Tar, has come forward to hold a press conference to share her perspective. Namwan Patsavee the wife of the young singer and actor Navin Tar She invited the media to a press conference about the matter at Baan Kam Poo restaurant, Soi Yothin Phatthana 3, near Ram Inthra Expressway, accompanied by her lawyer.

At the start of the statement, Namwan said, "As a wife, I have worked since I was 19, attended many meetings, and have been married to my husband for nearly 10 years. We have had meetings both domestically and abroad, presenting at almost every meeting. We've never had problems with this. Regarding fans, I organize Mr. Tar's birthday events, with fans attending every year, and we meet fans everywhere."

Namwan, being Thai, understands appropriateness and standards. Throughout the marriage, there have been no issues about this. Therefore, the recent incident was something she had never encountered. Such behavior is not something a wife should have to accept or experience.

What she cannot accept are the words used. If the phrase "national husband" is a positive term, and Mr. Tar was featured in the news with that title, that is acceptable. But the phrase "husband of everyone, everyone wants to be the husband" is something she has never heard anyone say directly in front of her husband, to the point that her husband ignored it.

The opposing party insists they never used the word "husband" but said "national husband" instead, leading to conflicting accounts. The lawyer said that from reviewing the clip, the word "husband" does appear. However, they cannot release the video due to concerns over violating PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) privacy rules, but they confirm the word "husband" was indeed said.

Namwan added that the meeting lasted several hours, and the person acting as a mediator had to pause the meeting. If it were just words, she might have accepted it. But because of the behavior and context she witnessed, she believes any wife in her position would find such conduct unacceptable.

When asked about the closeness and physical contact from the woman involved, Namwan said the other party kept touching her husband's chest throughout. Regarding the outfit, while filming it might not seem revealing, in person it was inappropriate. If you claim to be a professional presenter, you would have to pause the meeting several times because eye contact caused nervousness and trembling. Namwan emphasized that she has worked extensively, and Mr. Tar has had 9 years of meetings with no family problems. So why would a fan behave this way now?

Regarding the touching of the chest, Namwan said she felt uncomfortable, and Mr. Tar was embarrassed and uneasy. He also blamed himself for allowing the meeting to continue despite the discomfort felt by him and others present. Although Namwan was not there, witnesses felt the behavior was inappropriate. The mediator also felt uncomfortable and apologized, acknowledging it was unsuitable.

Asked about the closeness between this woman and Mr. Tar, Namwan said she has never met or had the person's phone number. If Namwan were to call, she invited them to dial her number. The lawyer added that a mediator helped clarify what happened. Namwan said the mediator is her business consultant and typically brings outsiders in to present work. Most presenters are women, and no problems have occurred before.

Before showing chat messages, Namwan said the mediator mentioned that the opposing party feared Namwan would retaliate physically. Namwan stated she was not raised to hurt anyone and does not think that way. She prefers society to judge instead. There is no talk of filing lawsuits. The mediator wants the matter to end because it might affect future work. Namwan has canceled the contract and the mediator is trying to resolve things.

Namwan said, "Why would I sue? If I were to sue someone, I would have to value that person highly. If not, the lawyer's fees are expensive, and I can't afford it. It would waste my time. Do not accuse me without clear evidence. If I lie, I can be sued immediately."

When asked if the CCTV footage might be released, the lawyer said he must protect his client. However, if journalists request to see it privately, that would be sufficient to confirm the facts.
