Namwan Disappointed Navin Tar Did Not Take Action When Incident Occurred, Addresses Divorce Rumors After Visiting District Office

It became an immediate hot topic when high-society businesswoman Namwan Patsavee Payakabut the wife of young singer and actor Navin Tar called a press conference to address the drama at Ban Kam Poo restaurant, Soi Yothin Phatthana 3, near the Ramindra Expressway, accompanied by her lawyer. Early in the statement, she revealed that the female live streamer involved behaved and dressed inappropriately during a business meeting with Navin Tar.

Regarding the incident, when reporters asked how she and Tar had resolved things, Namwan said that honestly, she had spoken to Tar very little about the live streaming incident because she only values her husband and not others. She felt that throughout their marriage, Tar should have protected her, but he let the situation escalate. Namwan believes this was Tar's fault and is saddened by it. Since marrying, she has respected him, never checked his phone, or monitored his whereabouts, living with trust.

With such trust, she wants people to understand her perspective. Namwan has never encountered or accepted such behavior and admits feeling disappointed in her husband. She wonders what wrong she did by staying home raising their child, working on only 3 hours of sleep a day. What angers her most is that during the meeting, Tar appeared uncomfortable. Why did he allow himself to be that way, especially since the meeting was held at their company? If a man said Namwan was everyone's wife, she would say she is only Navin Tar's wife and invite them to leave. This is Namwan's mindset. She values family—husband and child. When asked if she felt Tar was indecisive at that moment, she nodded in agreement.

When asked if they had openly cleared things up, Namwan said she is straightforward and they could not talk it through. Tar's parents stepped in to mediate, which is why their family is still together. Neither she nor Tar’s parents had ever experienced anything like this before, so it was hard for their family to accept the situation.

Regarding her visit to the district office, she admitted it was true. Namwan was genuinely angry and felt at that point she wanted nothing more. She felt she could take care of the child herself and wanted to remove herself from that situation. She does not want to face such circumstances again. She wondered why her husband did not take action for her. What hurt her most was that others seemed insignificant to him. She didn’t know who they were, but her husband should have protected her. Until now, their life had been peaceful without a single incident.

Namwan said her husband is not a public figure who must accept everything from everyone. Society has its standards, which she believes others understand. She noted that the woman involved is also married, so why doesn’t she respect her own husband? If people watched the 3-4 hour clip, there was hardly any work, just scenes Namwan could not bear to see.

About the remark that he is 'everyone’s husband' and 'the nation's husband,' Namwan believes 'nation’s husband' is a positive term referring to an ideal husband type, but not that anyone would want that person as their own husband. The communication is different. If Namwan got jealous easily, she said she has been with Tar’s fan club all along. Fans contact Tar, but he rarely uses social media, so they contact Namwan who handles it all. If she were jealous, she would have already acted because she knows the woman is another female.

Namwan often asked Tar if the woman had bad behavior since she was tagged on his belongings. Tar said no; he tagged her in case something happened. Meanwhile, Namwan does not follow up or investigate. She wants to work and raise their child, respecting her husband. If she were jealous, she would have checked. So today's incident wasn’t about jealousy or liking the woman. Watching the clip shows Tar turned away.

Namwan, a civil servant’s daughter, does not want her parents to suffer. She needs evidence and clarified that she is not speaking to spotlight herself. She does not want to gamble with her family’s life or fabricate lies for fame.

When asked if she divorced at the district office, Namwan answered honestly that initially she intended to divorce, but was told a witness was required, and no one was available. She then called Tar’s parents. She admitted her thoughts went beyond that to the children’s issue. She felt crazy at the time, fiercely protective of her children. Though there is a nanny, she takes care of the children herself. They are a real family and only have each other.

Asked if the elders opposed the divorce, Namwan said she was lucky that Tar’s parents, who love her very much, advised her to reconsider. But now she wants to be in a place where she can regain her composure. She hasn’t changed her mind yet but told her in-laws she might have acted impulsively. She cannot accept what happened because she never encountered such a thing. She asked for time to calm down and talk again.

When asked if Tar agreed to divorce, Namwan said Tar said it ‘must be done.’ Asked if he resisted, she said he did not want it to get to that point, but she could not accept the situation. If he had not acted, things might have worsened. Asked if Tar did not want to divorce, she said to ask him herself. They do not know his true feelings; he might just be saying words.

Regarding whether trust and love remain after the incident, Namwan said she may not be calm enough yet to answer confidently. What she is upset about is that Tar did not take action for her and their family.

When asked what would restore their family if they do not divorce, Namwan said she cannot answer yet, still hurt and uncertain, so cannot find an answer. They are still living together with both their parents. Tar is trying to make amends. He knows Namwan focuses on work and asks about her work and the children. They try to keep their children’s lives normal.

Regarding Navin Tar’s plan to take legal action against the opposing party, Namwan said it is sufficient that he said he would handle it and make things better. She explained that her anger is not just from seeing what happened but also from hearing how her husband felt. Yet, despite these feelings, he still let the incident continue.

She added that if this were another company, proper etiquette would apply and such actions would not be allowed. But this was their own company’s meeting, where they decide on contracts. They could have stopped the incident. The intermediary tried to halt the situation 4-5 times and had to pause the meeting. The meeting should have been stopped.

When asked about legal proceedings, Namwan said she had spoken little with Tar about it. Her lawyer added that Namwan rarely discussed the matter with Tar. As for legal steps, it appears Navin Tar may pursue charges of infringement, public defamation, or minor sexual harassment. The lawyer’s assessment is based on observed behavior, but it is unclear what Navin Tar and his lawyer will decide.

When asked if she informed Navin Tar about the press conference, Namwan said yes. Asked if they still sleep in the same room, she replied, “No, but we live in the same house. The atmosphere at home is normal. I work until 2 or 3 a.m., wake at 5 a.m. to prepare food for the children. We all work as a family. We often go on trips together every two weeks to maintain a good family atmosphere. We both work hard because we have three children.”
