Namwan, Navin Tars Wife, Insists She Never Created Drama, Addresses Family Issues in Media

High-society businesswoman Namwan Pasawi. Namwan Pasawi Payakkabut. The wife of singer and actor Navin Tar held a press conference at Ban Kampu restaurant, Soi Yothin Phatthana 3, near the Ramindra Expressway, to clarify an incident where a female live-streamer involved in a dispute behaved and dressed inappropriately during a work meeting with her husband. Namwan admitted she is still angry and not in full control regarding this matter and feels disappointed that her husband did not take action when it first happened. She also confirmed that she and her husband did go to the district office intending to file for divorce, but no witness came to sign, and both their parents helped mediate, allowing her to regain composure.

When asked why she brought family issues into live streams and public discussion, Namwan explained that she live-sells daily after her main work, usually in a room with about 40-50 viewers whom she knows personally. She said she was initially venting to avoid letting her parents know, and it is a small community where she can talk about anything.

Namwan said she feels sad about the incident and thinks her husband took too little action. She suddenly experienced difficulty breathing, which never happened before, and she doesn’t know why. Asked if her husband’s live-stream apology last night was sufficient, she said honestly that anyone can say anything, but since no action was taken during the incident, it’s hard to be sure. If he does take action, she would feel better, but she remains cautious.

Regarding the possibility that their children might see news about their parents in the future, Namwan said she believes the kids are still young and may not understand the situation. Their schools focus on studies and social activities rather than family matters.

When asked if she is worried and how she views this as a normal life issue that many face, Namwan said she believes that if the matter resolves well, all this will disappear. But if it ends badly, it would already be bigger news. She said their children know their parents are Navin Tar and Namwan, and they must understand. She has ways to explain to them. Her children are the most important part of her life, and her hard work every day is for them. Therefore, she will not abandon her role as a mother and will do her best as a wife.

On what might soften her heart toward Navin Tar, Namwan said she knows she lost control and is very angry with him. She is trying to stop herself and think carefully out of sympathy for Navin Tar’s elderly parents, who want to support their marriage. She feels sorry that her in-laws, despite their age, have to help solve their problems.

When asked if she has reflected on any mistakes and is willing to adjust for the family, Namwan said she will try to be calmer and think about what she might have done wrong. She believes no wife would be happy with a husband who takes no action. However, she admits she forgot that Navin is slow to process things. While she wondered why he did not handle the issue immediately, Navin said he is not their parent, the person is not an employee or relative, so he has no obligation to intervene or report.

Regarding accusations that this drama was created for publicity, Namwan replied, “No. I do my own business without using any hype. As for live selling, you can ask my customers in the live stream. I sell at a loss all the time, selling based on mood. I live stream because I am stressed from my main job.”

Namwan said her husband often complains and says they can show company sales figures to prove how much loss the live sales cause each year and month. If Namwan’s live sales cause more losses, no one would want to continue, including Navin Tar. He does not want her to live stream because the company is in the red, and Namwan is not hired to do live sales.

Namwan sells her own products and has never been paid to promote other brands, although she has sometimes done so. However, her main business remains her priority. She does live streaming for fun, even if she receives 200,000 baht, which she considers just enough. She said the criticism is not about the brands but about her own over-the-top praise during the streams. When her reputation suffers, it affects her entire business.

Regarding the lawyer invited today, some expected a lawsuit, but the lawyer clarified that Namwan is not filing a suit; the lawyer is here to assist with the press conference and related issues. Namwan said she has been challenged to show evidence, and while she wants to, showing it might lead to legal problems.

When asked how she wants to conclude this matter, Namwan said she cannot find any reason to fabricate lies. She is not famous but runs her own business and is not wealthy but earns enough to hire employees. Therefore, she does not need to create stories to make her family notorious. She only has the truth and evidence, which should be proven where appropriate if necessary. She said anyone who speaks untruths can sue her, and she has witnesses and video evidence. Witnesses present at the meeting confirmed that her marital status remains unchanged.
