After the high-society businesswoman Namwan Pasawi Phayakkabut wife of the singer and actor Tar Navin Yaowapolkul or Navin Tar live streamed herself crying while addressing a professional live streamer who came to present work during a company meeting Navin Tar attended. The streamer exhibited inappropriate behavior during her presentation, including her words, gestures, and provocative attire that seemed to flirt with her husband. She also said, “Does Namwan know? I’m everyone’s wife,” sparking a heated controversy.
Meanwhile, Navin Tar said he felt violated and that the incident made many uncomfortable, including himself. He said some people lack propriety and use polite society to make him appear as the wronged party. He called the actions unacceptable and illegal, and stated he intends to use the law against the other party.
This issue led many to wonder if the professional live streamer involved was Coach Som. When the entertainment news program on Workpoint channel contacted Coach Som, she explained that she was invited to teach Navin Tar’s team. Regarding her outfit, she considered it her own work clothes, wearing a long-sleeve top but with a low cut.
She said, “I talked with P’Tar that I’m a fan and very excited because I’m from the provinces and have admired him since I was a child. I told him he’s like the nation’s husband, similar to a very famous male actor.” She admitted saying this and continued teaching.
She said she was genuinely nervous and shaking. She is unsure how the third person in the meeting room interpreted things, but confirmed her fandom is from the past. She insisted there was no romantic intent and welcomed releasing the meeting footage. She did not ask for photos or to exchange personal contacts that day.
After the incident, they cleared things up. P’Tar scolded her because she was so nervous. Later, Namwan called and she apologized, admitting she said that phrase. Namwan wanted her to apologize in person at her home or else she would sue, but Coach Som felt Namwan was angry and decided not to go.
Regarding Namwan’s claim that Coach Som caused a family split, she admitted and felt sorry for her words. She did not intend for this to happen and apologized multiple times by phone.
After Coach Som’s statement, Namwan and her lawyer held a press conference at 11:00 a.m. on 6 Mar 2026. Namwan denied calling Coach Som and said if she had, she could show the phone number. She said she had surveillance footage but couldn’t open it due to PDPA concerns and risk of being sued. She confirmed the other party behaved inappropriately, including groping her chest and saying her husband was “everyone’s husband.” Namwan said she does not plan to sue; if she were to sue, she would need to pay the person as it would be an important part of life, but she cannot afford the lawyer fees.
After Namwan’s press conference, Thairath Entertainment tried to contact Coach Som for comment, but she replied briefly, “Som is not available to provide information as stated in yesterday’s interview. My teaching duties are now complete. Thank you for contacting me.”
