Previously, social media buzzed as 90s music fans closely watched the relationship among the three women. “T-Skirt” A popular girl group from the 90s whose members included Joy, Gift, and Mar.
Joy posted photos without Gift and Mar, raising questions about what happened. Then Mar posted pictures with Gift, Mar, and Yui Patamawan. Also, Joy was absent from The Lady Concert, leading many to wonder where Joy was and speculate if they had unfriended each other.
However, Gift and Mar clarified they have not disbanded; they simply pursued separate projects appropriately without any conflicts.
Recently, Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment attended the KITA 40UP concert where Joy was collaborating with Fandee-Fandane, Yui Patamawan, and Off Dr. Kids. Joy gave an interview about this, saying:
“Regarding unfriending and unfollowing, I wasn’t aware until recently. Do we talk? Not much. Honestly, T-Skirt is more like work colleagues than close friends. When we performed concerts, we talked more, but when we don’t work together, each lives their own life.
The long post I made was to give thanks for everything that happened, because KITA 40UP is doing well. Everyone, including seniors, has encouraged and helped me in many ways. But every coin has two sides.
Some may not understand why only one T-Skirt member is present. From my perspective, the group initially included all members. I was actually the last to join and brought in older members too. But due to inconvenience, I often said the eldest member would ask who could not invest because we initially had to pay to form the group.
The eldest always said that group artists should decide for themselves without relying on the group so they know what kind of work they want to do. We hadn’t invited others because this group existed for a long time. When I joined, we discussed investment, but Mar and Gift were not able to invest, which was fine. It was a mutual decision. I talked with them that we need to continue this project because friends did it for us. After that, we didn’t talk again.
Since that charity event, we haven’t talked because we no longer work together. Gift and Mar don’t usually call me either. I still support The Lady because if you read carefully, I wrote about everyone. Everyone has dreams and can return to singing and doing what makes them happy. I have no complaints and will do what makes me happy. After The Lady started, I was happy for them and would never blame them. In this world, having the chance to sing and do what you love is a blessing.”
