It is considered another loss to the entertainment industry with the passing of a former 1980s actress. Mukda Boonthong the wife of the famous singer and actor Nueng Nukkit Boonthong, and the mother of former Channel 7HD leading actress Gunjasol Pantothong Boonthong. She died from cancer at the age of 61 on 8 Mar 2025 GMT+7. Thairath Entertainment takes a look back at the life of this late actress.
Regarding Mukda Boonthong, she was originally named Mukda Phinkarawat. Her entertainment career began as a model, appearing in several well-known magazines of the time. She also acted in the 1986 film “Pai Plong Diao.”
In her personal life, she married the well-known actor and former Malila Brazilian band singer Nueng Nukkit on 16 Mar 1990 GMT+7. They had three daughters: Gunjasol Pantothong, Jaekan Potakthong, and Redah Prachaya. Gunjasol, their eldest, followed in her parents' footsteps by entering the entertainment industry through the Academy Fantasia Season 6 competition.
