IRENE & SEULGI of Red Velvet showcased their radiant balanced power, truly worthy of being called the 'perfect unit,' in their first full concert in Thailand: the 2025 IRENE & SEULGI Concert Tour [BALANCE] in BANGKOK.
The event was held on Saturday, 19 July 2025 GMT+7, at Paragon Hall in Bangkok.
This concert highlighted the tour’s key theme, “BALANCE,” and the concept from their latest mini-album “TILT,” centered on the story of IRENE & SEULGI. Initially, they seemed unbalanced, but together they pushed and pulled perfectly, creating true balance.
Everything was naturally woven together—from the setlist, stage direction, video content, to the diverse musical spectrum and songs that Thai fans experienced live for the first time. All elements connected seamlessly, including the unique chemistry the duo has built over time, stepping into the high-end music world with their signature style. They shook the stage with the song “TILT,” expressing the brightest moment when two different identities merge into a perfect “balance.”
This was followed by vibrant and beautiful songs like “Feel Good,” “Trampoline,” and “Diamond,” plus harmonious vocals in “Irresistible,” “Girl Next Door,” “What's Your Problem?,” and “Heaven.” Fans also remembered the creatively synchronized choreography, such as the charming demon moves in “Monster” and the complex shadow-like movements in “놀이 (Naughty).” Excitement peaked when the familiar intro sounded, and the duo performed “Be Natural” for the first time in 11 years, originally debuted as SMROOKIES. They fully revived the original choreography and camera angles, telling the story of their growth from trainees to now.
Additionally, solo stages highlighted each member’s distinct talents. SEULGI delivered energetic pop dance with “Baby, Not Baby,” featuring strong, confident dance moves, alongside various genres including R&B pop “Rollin' (With My Homies),” alternative pop “Better Dayz,” slow R&B “Praying,” and “Dead Man Runnin’,” which she co-wrote. Meanwhile, IRENE blossomed with bold and bright performances in pop dance songs like “Like A Flower,” “Start Line,” and “Ka-Ching,” as well as dance, pop, and R&B tracks “Calling Me Back” and “Strawberry Silhouette.” The special moments continued.
IRENE & SEULGI surprised fans by coming down from the stage during the encore to deliver an intimate experience throughout the hall with the song “Jelly,” along with a medley of Red Velvet hits like “Hit That Drum” and “짐살라빔 (Zimzalabim)” that exploded with full energy. ReVeluv, their fanclub, strengthened this balance with various projects, including singing “Candy,” a sweet pledge to always stand by them; lightstick arrangements (Azul, short for Irene and Seulgi in Korean); a slogan meaning “We’ve been through our teens, twenties, and thirties together, and for the next 40, 50, 60 years, we’ll always be together”; and headbands featuring a “rabbit” symbolizing IRENE and a “bear” symbolizing SEULGI. Over more than two hours and 24 songs, IRENE & SEULGI proved themselves the perfect unit, discovering a flawless point of balance with Thai ReVeluvs at the heart of it all.
