Many people became concerned when the popular female DJ, Tonhom Sakuntala Thianphairoj, posted images of the iron railing from the upper part of her nearly 50-million-baht luxury house suddenly falling down just beside the cage where her dog was lying, narrowly missing it.
DJ Tonhom captioned the clip: "This is my house. Asking experts, does this happen to other houses? Who is at fault? Is it because I never checked behind the house, or what?"
"But right now I'm out of town, just arrived this morning. The housekeeper informed me, and I'm really annoyed (I think the guardian spirit might be angry and kicking me out) haha. This area is where people and dogs pass through, including my child who likes to play with the dog."
"In this misfortune, there is some luck that it happened at midnight (maybe the guardian spirit had a part and gave me a chance to reconsider). But now, what should I do? In over 40 years, I've never experienced my house falling apart while I'm still here, and there is no nearby construction either."
"For my house construction, I used architects, contractors, and consultants, and paid for everything. The question is: What happened? This incident prompted her close friend, Boy Phisanu, to comment: "That's scary. Maybe a bolt came loose? Is the iron too heavy? Or was there no steel reinforcement in the concrete?" DJ Tonhom replied, "If I had to guess, it's carelessness. This iron is wrought iron, which is very heavy. It can't be held by concrete alone."
Meanwhile, many in the industry and fans shared their reactions, including May Pitchanart saying "Whoa!", Zee Siwat commenting "So intense, really lucky no one was hurt," Tong Pakamai saying "Very lucky, Tonhom, no one was hit.
