It is a great loss in the life of Nueng Nukkit Boonthong, a young actor and former lead singer of the Malila Brazilian band, when he lost Mukda Boonthong, his beloved wife, who passed away never to return due to stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to her liver and lungs.
The family arranged the funeral at Wat Sammachanyawat, Pavilion 1, from 8 to 10 March 2026, and the cremation ceremony was scheduled for 11 March 2026.
Recently, Nueng Nukkit posted a message thanking everyone for their support and said he felt heartbroken that this evening (11 March 2026) he would have to send off the soul of his beloved wife, wishing her to become an angel in heaven. The message reads as follows:
“11 March 2026,
I would like to use this space to sincerely thank everyone for all the support and concern shown to the Boonthong family and to Mukda.
Thank you to all the journalists, both those who could not attend and those who came to listen to the three nights of Buddhist prayers.
I deeply appreciate the wreaths sent by senior figures from all fields, close friends from school and work, fellow actors and others who attended or were unable to attend.
This evening, I feel heartbroken to send off the beloved soul. Rest peacefully, no longer needing to endure pain and suffering. May you journey to become an angel in the heavens. Do not worry or be anxious.
I want you to know that as long as I have breath, I will take care of and stand by our children and grandchildren.
With all my heart, Mukda will remain in my memory forever until we meet again.”
