Today (11 Mar 2026 GMT+7), the Boonthong family held the cremation ceremony for Mother Mukda Boonthong, wife of the veteran actor Nueng Nukkid Boonthong, and mother of the former famous actress Khunjaosorn Pantaothong. The ceremony took place at the crematorium of Wat Sammachanyawat after Mother Mukda had battled stage 4 colorectal cancer that had spread to her liver and lungs, fighting the illness for over nine years.
The atmosphere at the cremation was filled with sorrow. Jaegan and Radar, the two younger sisters of Khunjaosorn, wept uncontrollably, while Father Nueng comforted his daughters. However, Khunjaosorn, the eldest daughter, was not present at the ceremony.
