With deepest sorrow over the passing of Mae Mukda, wife of the veteran actor Nueng Nukkit Boonthong, who peacefully passed away after a long illness of more than nine years. The family held the cremation ceremony today (11 Mar 2026 GMT+7). The atmosphere was filled with grief from the husband and their two daughters, Jaikan, and Radar,
where Jaikan, the second daughter, read aloud the biography of Mae Mukda. At times she said, "Mae Mukda was born on 25 December 1964 in Surat Thani province. She married Father Nukkit, who is our father, and they had two daughters: myself, Jaikan, and my younger sister, Radar.
In the past, Mae Mukda worked in the entertainment industry and was known by everyone as 'Noo Muk Na Sai' (Clear-faced Muk). She was a film actress, a model, and appeared in many famous magazines, including numerous modeling shoots.
Since we were children, our parents always took us to and from school daily. Whatever we wanted to study additionally, Mother was fully supportive and treated all her children equally. She waited for us while we studied, took dance lessons, singing lessons, and traditional Thai dance lessons, never once saying she was tired. Mother was a role model in my life—strong, hardworking, and patient.
Going back to 2017, Mother fell ill and underwent treatment for nine years. She endured and fought with a strong heart. May Mother rest in peace."
Then, at about 16:00, Mae Mukda's cremation took place, with Father Nueng Nukkit, Jaikan, and Radar all weeping heavily. Particularly, Radar cried inconsolably at having to say goodbye to her beloved mother.
