Regarding Ohm Cocktail’s background,

- He is the son of Police General Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), and Associate Professor Piyanun Prasarnrajkit, a faculty member of Interior Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University. He is the nephew of Anan Krukaew, former rector of the College of Technology and Vocational Education, and the great-grandson of Phaya Phadung Witthayaserm (Kamchat Plangkur).
- He completed kindergarten at Jurarit Kindergarten, then attended elementary and lower secondary at Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School, followed by upper secondary at Triam Udom Suksa School. He holds a Bachelor of Political Science from Thammasat University, majoring in Political Administration, and a Bachelor of Laws with first-class honors from the Faculty of Law at Chulalongkorn University, specializing in Public Law. - He lived recklessly, causing social issues, smoking, heavy drinking, and suffered a serious car accident that nearly led to his expulsion from university, disappointing his family.
- Ohm then reevaluated himself, refocused on his studies, achieved first-class honors, and became a university lecturer.
- He began his music career by forming a band while still at Triam Udom Suksa School. In 2002, the band “Cocktail” was formed.
- Cocktail released a total of nine albums and three EPs, with more than 100 songs.
- After more than 23 years, the band decided to disband, holding a final full-scale concert called “Cocktail Ever Live” at Rajamangala National Stadium, followed by a farewell tour across all 77 provinces lasting eight months, concluding with a final concert in Bangkok at Thephasadin Stadium on 24 December 2025 GMT+7.
- Beyond being an artist, Ohm also served as executive of GeneLab, a label under GMM Music focusing on alternative and rock music, providing a platform for emerging artists. He managed with understanding towards artists, moving away from the "I bathed in hot water first" mindset, emphasizing collaboration and guidance to present work to audiences.
- Under Ohm’s leadership, GeneLab became a home to many top artists including Three Man Down, TaitosmitH, Tilly Birds, The Darkest Romance, Only Monday, ASIA7, Hard Boy, ADORA, Famoso, Par-T, Kong Huayrai, Jigsaw Story, Gokie Kwisara, QEETHA, fit aroon, M DAOSAI, AYEJAY, Dena Euprasert, and Ossey.
- On the morning of 11 March 2026 GMT+7, Ohm Pantapol posted a message announcing his resignation as GeneLab executive, affirming that the decision was not due to conflict but to conclude his mission and pursue personal goals. He left the label’s foundation strong enough for artists to continue independently.
- Ohm’s resignation deeply affected the label’s artists. Jay TaitosmitH, Kit from Three Man Down, and Kong Huayrai posted their reactions, stating they had known beforehand but did not expect it to unfold this way. They expressed sadness, understanding, and support for Ohm’s chosen path. They also expressed a desire to hear the official explanation from GMM Music.
