Fans and cat lovers alike were brought to tears when the handsome leading actor Great Warintorn Panjakarn shared news about his beloved three-legged cat, Khaitoon, who was diagnosed with the feline leukemia virus and lymphoma affecting the central nervous system.
On his Instagram @great_rider10, Great posted a video of Khaitoon undergoing chemotherapy treatment, visibly moved to tears out of sympathy for his beloved cat. He wrote, “Here’s an update for the fans: Khaitoon tested positive for the feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and was also diagnosed with lymphoma in the central nervous system (CNS lymphoma). Currently, Khaitoon is receiving chemotherapy treatment.”
An MRI revealed a tumor pressing on the spinal cord and slight swelling of the meninges, indicating brain inflammation as well.
Two weeks into chemotherapy, the response has been moderate to good, with medium-level side effects. I feel sorry for him 沈.
Each chemotherapy session requires monitoring blood values and overall condition to ensure readiness. If he’s physically ready and determined, I will fight alongside him. But if signs show he’s sleepy or tired, I intend not to force his body and will consult all doctors to find the most comfortable path forward for Khaitoon.
Thank you everyone for supporting Khaitoon and his dad Let’s keep going ✌ #KhaitoonThreeLeggedCat
