After former actress Mukda Boonthong wife of Nueng Nukkid Boonthong an actor and former singer, died from colon cancer that spread to her liver and lungs after more than nine years of treatment,
the family held a funeral at Wat Sammachanyawat, followed by a cremation ceremony on 11 Mar 2026 GMT+7. However, former leading actress Gunjaesol Pantothong Boonthong did not attend the event.
Recently, the family including Nueng Nukkid, Jakan Potakthong, and Radar Prachaya held the ash scattering ceremony for their mother Mukda, but Gunjaesol was absent from this ceremony.
On the Instagram account @redarrprchyaa of Radar Prachaya Boonthong, the youngest daughter of Nueng and Mukda, she posted photos and videos of the event, writing, “If there is a next life, let’s be mother and daughter again, Mom. I miss you so much.” Many fans commented with messages of support.
