Recently, Kao Krerkpol's sister posted a clarification on behalf of the family, stating the following:
“Regarding the case where Kate, Kao Krerkpol’s foreign wife, went live and spoke about our family on various issues,
I, as the daughter of the person mentioned, wish to clarify the facts on behalf of my mother. The latest information and previous posts accusing us have caused misunderstandings online and have led to abusive language against my mother, which is not true.
Previously, our family chose to remain silent out of respect for family relationships and sympathy for Kao as our younger brother. However, we have warned that if such false accusations continue, our family will take legal action.
The points we want to clarify are as follows:
1. Regarding interference in family life,
the claim that Kao’s family meddled in their marriage or child-rearing causing problems is not true. Our family has never interfered in their family life.
2. Regarding taking her child away,
the allegation that our family wanted to take her child is also untrue. On the contrary, our family told Kao that if they separate and she wants sole custody, we understand and respect her rights as the mother who carried and gave birth to the child.
3. Regarding wanting to live as just father, mother, and child,
she once said she wanted to live as just the three of them, but in reality, they currently live as three at my mother’s house. My parents have long since moved out and now live in Bangkok.
Our family sincerely hopes this clarification helps the public understand the facts better. We ask everyone to use discretion when receiving information and not to insult others without thinking, as only family members truly know the situation.
If false accusations or misinformation causing damage to our family continue, we will consider legal action.

Meanwhile, Kate posted a clarification about the drama, stating: “I want to clarify again that Kao’s family, where he grew up, has not done anything to me. They have not interfered in our lives if Kao had not involved them. I apologize to his family if what I said earlier made anyone feel bad.
This is really a matter of the small family we just created. Between Kao and me, we have different views on life, which has caused us both a lot of pain.
Sometimes love alone is not enough; life values and views on family matter too, and we come from different cultures, making everything more difficult.
For me, my family is my husband and child. I can happily spend my whole day from morning to night just with these two.
