This incident has made the fans of the young singer Nichkhun Horvejkul a member of the Korean boy band 2PM very concerned, sending him lots of support after he was stalked and followed by a sasaeng fan who shouted insults at him in Chinese and also physically assaulted him. He decided to go to a nearby police station to ask the police to stop the fan from following him further. In the end, he had to take a police car back home.
On Nichkhun’s Instagram story, he posted a message in English describing the incident, which can be summarized as follows:
“Last night while I was out for a walk near my home, someone who claimed to be a fan stalked and followed me. This person followed me for nearly 30 minutes, walking almost right next to me while aggressively shouting insults at me in Chinese.
I couldn’t go home because I didn’t want that person to come to my house. So I walked to a nearby police station and asked the police to help stop her from following me any further. In the end, the police had to drive me home because I was afraid she would be waiting and follow me again.
I know who you are, and I will take legal action against you. You also physically assaulted me, so don’t think I won’t do anything just because I’m me.
This is a serious violation of my privacy and safety. I know what you look like, and I know where you study in Korea.
Don’t come back here again, and don’t attend any of my events anymore.
I know most of my true fans understand that I value my privacy and want to live a normal human life in this world. But for those who don’t understand, I don’t consider you my fan.
I know I’m writing this message when I’m very angry, but it needs to be said.
