Recently Rocky Surabodin Sombatjaroen, Dink Kamolchanok Sombatjaroen and their mother Jeab Atthapornpim Komonsen appeared on the talk show "Kui Zaap Show" on One31 channel, openly sharing about Surachai Sombatjaroen, their former husband and father, including the reasons Jeab was sued for divorce.
- Suddenly, Surachai brought that woman to an event in Thailand, which shocked the sons as they had never known about this before. Jeab herself was also shocked and surprised.
- Rocky said that four years ago, his youngest uncle passed away. He arranged a van to attend the uncle's funeral and asked his sister Dink to ask their father if he would go along. The reply was harsh; their father scolded them in the family group chat, saying, 'Why get involved with the uncle? When he was alive, you never bothered him, so why now that he’s dead? You like funerals so much.' So they informed the uncle's children they couldn't attend because Uncle Add forbade it. When they saw the news, they wondered if they were being heartless by not attending their own uncle's funeral. They had always followed their father's wishes until they saw footage showing their father standing next to the woman who had been registered as his spouse.
- Jeab said after seeing those images, she felt, 'How bold.' After that, he posted on Facebook about going places together frequently.
- Jeab added that during their life together, there were always issues with another woman causing tension. Offers of one million baht were made, letters were left at their house requesting shared custody days, but she let it pass because from her perspective, he was a good husband and father, a family man at home.
- When asked if she had been unfaithful to for 40 years, Jeab said, 'If I thought that way, my heart wouldn’t have endured. It's like a family facing a storm; when the storm comes, I just hold my children tightly and tell them not to be afraid. It will pass and end eventually.'
- Rocky was moved to tears, saying that before, he didn’t understand, but once he had children, he realized he would do anything for them.
- Asked if she ever wanted to leave the relationship, Jeab said no, because she had children to care for. Leaving would mean choosing her own happiness, but she chose to hold the family together.
- Jeab described the day Surachai filed for divorce, saying it was sudden with no prior issues. One day she came home to find a court summons hanging on the door, accusing her of abandoning him for 15 years, not living together, unreachable.
- Rocky said his mother sent a photo of the court summons to the family group chat, and the children were confused. This happened two years ago.
- When asked if their father was under any curse, Rocky replied, 'I don’t know. I can’t answer for him.'
- Jeab said that after the lawsuit, the judge attempted mediation, but the divorce suit failed. They had documents proving they lived together continuously. She hadn’t abandoned him and lived normally. The suit was unsuccessful, but in the end, she granted the divorce so he could live as he wished.
- The initial claims in the lawsuit could not be proven. So she said, 'Let’s talk about the truth. I will sue him myself.' She filed for divorce, stating he had another woman and was involved in various places. They had evidence because he posted on social media himself and admitted it. Ultimately, she granted him the divorce.
