It became a topic of great interest among fans when singer Meentra Intira along with lawyer James came forward to provide information about internal changes, including a switch in personal managers, citing discoveries of irregularities and missing financial details. Preliminary assessments of known data show losses amounting to 4.5 million baht, with other areas still under further investigation.
Meentra revealed her feelings, saying she had a good relationship with this former manager for over 10 years, loving and respecting her like a real sister. She fully trusted her to manage all matters until early this year when she began noticing some irregularities. She repeatedly asked for explanations but received no clear answers until communication channels were eventually blocked.
“I’m very hurt because I am someone who keeps a barrier and doesn’t get close to many people. When she came in, I opened my heart completely and loved her deeply without suspicion. But what happened contradicted that trust, which left me feeling lost,” Meentra said.
Lawyer James outlined three main points of suspicion that led to gathering evidence. He summarized the irregularities found as follows:
1. Signature issues: Some documents were processed with signatures that the person did not personally sign.
2. Financial transactions used improperly: There is information that payments from employers were transferred into a personal account instead of the company’s or Meentra’s accounts as agreed.
3. Outstanding expenses: Some funds assigned to be handled with the record label have yet to be properly managed.
Additionally, there were attempts to access personal social media accounts without permission. Lawyer James noted, “This is a violation under the Computer Crime Act. Attempting to access accounts without authorization—even if previously allowed—is not permitted now. We will approach the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau to check the IP addresses to find out which devices were used and whether the attempts came from within Thailand or abroad.”
One of the most heart-wrenching impacts involved show bookings. Lawyer James revealed that advance payments from event organizers were received but were not forwarded to the artist according to the rightful shares. This forced Meentra to use her own money to pay the crew and band to fulfill all contractual performance obligations with the organizers.
Currently, Meentra has clearly announced that she has only one personal manager, "Khun Bee," and urges event organizers and employers to carefully verify names and contact information before transferring money to prevent confusion caused by claims on previous contracts.
