In the question round with the final seven contestants, they were asked: If you could set new punishments for government officials and politicians who are corrupt and embezzle, what punishments would you impose and why?
All the contestants answered well without faltering, especially Ning Patama, Miss Grand Chonburi 2026, who responded:
“For me, I would name this law ‘Slow Torture.’ First, I would start by cutting out their tongues. Second, slowly gouge out their eyes. Third, remove their fingernails and toenails. Then let them die slowly in agony because they have stolen from our country and prevented its progress. Choose me, and these people will dare not harm our country.” This answer drew gasps, cheers, and applause throughout the hall.
