In the lyrics, Surachai recounts the love they've shared, saying that Diana’s support has been his bright spot. He apologizes for having to follow Thai traditions that led to infidelity, explaining it was necessary. Though physically apart, his heart remains unwavering.
He wonders why fate has separated them for 40 years, once fearing she would hate him, but never imagining she would wait for his return. He adds, "Diana, you and I forever," declaring his love with all his heart.
