After actress Grace Chalita Sotthivanwong younger sister of former villain actress Gift Daraphada, posted pictures of the moment when her wealthy boyfriend, Art Itthichot Sasomsap, knelt to propose during a trip to Finland, but soon after, their couple photos vanished from Instagram, while Girl Surisda, another elder sister of Grace, posted a clip of Grace crying heavily along with a heartfelt message.
Recently, Art Itthichot posted an Instagram story to clarify the situation between him and Grace, stating the following:
“I would like to take this opportunity to speak. Today, I want to explain everything as clearly as I can, especially regarding someone who was once important to me.
First, I sincerely apologize for everything that has happened, including my decision to end the relationship, and for the day I knelt to propose—a day that should have been one of the happiest in anyone's life but instead became a painful memory because of my own choice.
I understand how much my stepping back has hurt her. What I did might seem contradictory and hard to understand, but during that time, I tried to believe we could be together. However, it was a personal issue between us that we had previously discussed. If we forced the relationship to continue, neither of us would be happy as a family. Therefore, I will not go into details here.
I want to clearly affirm that this decision was entirely mine. No one else should be drawn into this matter or hurt by misunderstandings without fully understanding the situation.
An “apology” may not fix anything and might not be enough for many people's feelings, but the only thing I can do now is to accept my mistakes honestly and not shift the blame onto others. I sincerely apologize.
