The news of the passing shocked and saddened fans greatly. Neng Mengjai also known as Neng Gom Ma Dee Krab. He was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer that had spread to the lungs, causing rapid deterioration leading to acute heart failure and his death early this morning (19 Mar 2026).
Mr. The Comedian, a close younger brother of Neng, posted an announcement about Neng Mengjai's passing, saying, “Rest in peace, big brother Neng Mengjai. My condolences to the family as well. #RIP #NengMengjai”.
Meanwhile, Jack Green from Thairath Entertainment called Mr. The Comedian to inquire about the situation. He recounted Neng's illness before hospitalization and subsequent death, stating,
“Counting from the day before his death, he was admitted to the hospital in the early evening of yesterday (18 Mar). In the evening, Neng's girlfriend picked him up from his house in Pathum Thani. I understand they transferred hospitals, though I don't have the exact details. I do know he was moved to Banphaeo Hospital. So, they had to bring him from Pathum Thani to Banphaeo in Samut Sakhon. While at the hospital, his condition seemed to worsen hour by hour.
From talking with Ice, his wife’s mother, during the car ride from Pathum Thani to Nakhon Pathom, he had stomach pain but was still coherent and able to speak. He just said, “Why is it so far? I want to lie down.”
By the time he reached Banphaeo Hospital late at night, he started to be delirious. My girlfriend and I were crying since last night. We saw his yellow eyes, his gaze vacant, speaking incoherently with his hand waving back and forth, answering questions with unrelated replies. His awareness was not 100%. It was shocking and happened so fast. I left the hospital around 2 a.m., and then his girlfriend Ice called me at 8:20 a.m. to say that Neng had passed away.”
