The passing of “Neng Mengjai” or “Neng, Come On In” after being diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer that was spreading to his lungs, leading to rapid deterioration and sudden heart failure, and passing away this morning (19 Mar 2026), caused deep sorrow and shock among his comedian friends and devoted fans.
His family brought Neng Mengjai's body to hold the prayer and cremation ceremonies at Wat Klang Khlong Si in Pathum Thani. Upon arrival at the temple, many comedian friends were already waiting to help organize and assist with the arrangements.
The atmosphere inside the ceremony was filled with profound sadness. Ice, Neng’s wife, was inconsolable in tears. Ball Chuenyim looked visibly mournful, as did Louis Chuanchuen and other comedian friends who were also deeply grief-stricken.
Currently, many comedian friends continue to arrive to pay their respects, including Ball Chuenyim, Louis Chuanchuen, Tuck Boriboon, Note Chuenyim, Chet Chuenyim, Toffee 3 Baht 50 Satang, Jare Chuenyim, and Tua Rae Chuenyim, among others.
