After Neng Mengjai or Neng Kormadi passed away on the morning of 19 Mar 2026 GMT+7 due to terminal liver cancer that had spread to his lungs. His condition rapidly deteriorated, resulting in sudden cardiac arrest and subsequent death. This deeply saddened his family, colleagues, and fans who received the news, marking a sudden departure that caught loved ones completely off guard.
His family and close associates brought Neng Mengjai's body to be laid at Wat Klang, Khlong 4, Pathum Thani Province. During this time, Ice, Neng’s wife, was overwhelmed with grief and nearly inconsolable. She was closely supported by those around her. Before placing the body in the coffin, the family held a final farewell.
Ice, Neng’s wife, approached to embrace him one last time, but fellow comedians gently stopped her, even wiping her tears to prevent them from falling on the body. Ice said, “No, they won’t.” Then she went in to hug him and whispered her final words in his ear, saying, “Let’s meet again in the next life, brother.”
