Neng Meng Jai He passed away suddenly at the age of 47, deeply saddening his wife Ice and their family. Although Neng had been ill, he refused to stop working or rest for treatment, enduring until the very end of his life.
Recently, Ice, Neng's wife, posted a video dated 17 March, the day Neng had just landed at Don Mueang Airport after returning from work in Ubon Ratchathani. In the clip, Neng looks clearly exhausted and tells his wife he feels like he might faint. Ice even laughs and teases him. She wrote a deeply sorrowful message:
“Just flew back from Ubon, looking so tired and saying you might faint. You stubbornly went to work even though you weren't well, wouldn't listen to anything, saying you had to go. In the end, you really went. Why did you leave me? Can you come back to me? Why didn't we die together, my dear husband?”
Following this, friends from the comedy troupe Yern Scorpion gave an interview saying, “We were with Neng until the very last moment. He was a very determined person. Even when sick, he didn’t tell anyone, came to work, worked hard, and fought until the end. On 17 March, he had to perform at Chuen Yim Chuen Lor in Ubon Ratchathani. We asked if he was okay before he left. He said he was. We said, ‘Are you sure? You don’t have to take the road; take a plane back because you don’t look well.’ But he insisted he was fine.”
