
Amid rising oil prices and living costs caused by the Middle East war, Jui Waratya recently opened up about how her family is adapting, admitting they have been affected and had to completely rethink their lifestyle.
The couple revealed they focus on saving and planning travel carefully. Jui said they now have to save together and carefully calculate expenses. Fortunately, they chose a school near home for their child, so they don’t travel often. She also instructed the household that when going to the market, they should buy everything at once to reduce trips and save fuel.
A glimpse into the housewife’s way of life "Prepared but not panicked" As a housewife, Jui said the most she can do is plan the household’s food resources. Although they don’t hoard excessively, the family is doing well because they raise chickens and grow garden vegetables themselves. This provides fresh organic eggs and vegetables daily without needing to buy outside.
Put adds his support as a necessary farmer, admitting life isn’t as relaxed as he thought. Even though they have laying hens, feed costs are a factor, so he began chopping garden vegetables to mix into chicken feed to reduce expenses. Currently, their organic egg production is enough to sell 1–2 trays daily to neighbors.
