She is another YouTuber with a large following, known as Ava Pawarawan. She has faced quite a bit of drama. To get through it, she had to cry and endure heavy criticism, with people saying that despite being rich, she made clips to gain attention and followers. Ava admitted that at first, she did it for views, but later, she made content to attract clients so she could support her team. She added that now she is grown and no longer receives money from her grandfather, but still gets tens of thousands baht monthly from her father, which is not enough to pay her staff whose monthly wages run into hundreds of thousands.
In addition, Ava spoke about her on-screen partner, Rak Sulak, whom she allows fans to ship since they will star together in a Yuri series. Whether they become a real couple remains to be seen; she is waiting for him to court her.
How did you feel when you first made clips and faced drama, with people not understanding you?
"At first, people commented that I made clips to give away things and create buzz to get the spotlight and make clips for that reason. Sometimes I asked myself that too. Like when I started on TikTok, I liked helping people. I used to volunteer as a teacher at an orphanage and enjoyed that."
"But once the clips went viral, I had to consider view counts because low views meant fewer clients. I have many staff to support, so I thought about this a lot. I tried to tell myself that even if a clip gets few views, if it changes one person's life, it's worth it. It might not change the whole world, but it changes that person's world forever."
Did you get upset by the drama?
"I did get upset, but now I'm used to it. I have a very strong 'vaccine.' When I started in the industry, I felt sad and cried, and people criticized me everywhere. I liked reading Thairath news. My father taught me that everything has ups and downs. Today people love you; tomorrow they might hate you. The most important thing is that your heart must be strong enough to handle everything and not change because of external influences."
Did you respond to the people who criticized you?
"I respond in my own mind. For example, if someone comments that I'm showy, I think, 'Okay, maybe I am a bit showy, but I don't want them to feel that way.' I compare my home with theirs but want people to see that Ava's lifestyle is genuine. But everyone's life isn’t about the size of their house; it’s about the people inside and whether there is love and warmth."
But some people support you, saying you really have it, so you can do it?
"I feel thankful to those who defend me. But I want to say to those who watch my clips and feel bad, compare themselves, or feel jealous: everyone has their own struggles. No one is born perfect. Even the 13-story house isn’t mine; it belongs to my grandfather, who no longer pays me a salary. Now I’m trying to build myself up through my own abilities."
So making viral clips wasn’t just for fame but not for getting rich?
"In the past, that was true, but now I do hope to get rich. In the past, frankly, I focused mainly on views because I didn’t use money or have a team. Now that I have a team, I want to improve their quality of life, give bonuses, support them, and make the organization bigger and more stable."
People say you’re already rich, so why do this?
"Yes, I get that comment a lot, but I’d say my grandfather doesn’t pay me. What can I do? (Why not ask your father?) My father doesn’t give me much either. What can I do?" "My father gives me about tens of thousands baht per month, but my staff's monthly salaries add up to several hundred thousand baht, which I have to find myself."
"I also do it because I love it. It makes me happy, and viewers get positive energy from my clips. Some comments say they suffer from depression but watching my clips makes them smile. It’s giving without spending any money."
Recently you’ve been linked to a relationship, with many comments asking if he’s your boyfriend?
"I’ve seen many comments like that, but first, we’re like partners. We will star together in a Yuri project, and fans are allowed to ship us."
Will you become a real couple since you’re single?
"Well, we have to wait and see in the future."
How is Rak Sulak?
"I like him a lot. He’s very dedicated to his work and loves the GL (Girl Love) genre. His family has four GL books he’s read himself. He auditions himself and has great passion for this. I feel that two people with dreams—me wanting to be an actress and him wanting to act in GL—coming together can grow well. Let's wait and see what happens."
Do you act as a pair in the series?
"Yes, I act alongside him."
How do you feel acting in a Yuri series together?
"I feel that love, regardless of gender, is simply love. Love is beautiful now, whether man loves man or woman loves woman. Ultimately, love is the most important thing in the world. Without love, there would be only hatred. I don’t see it as just male-female or female-female; it depends on who we love."
How would you feel if you fell for him while acting together?
"I think about that too because he’s cool. I’m single now, so let’s wait and see. I’m waiting for him to court me; he hasn’t quite yet."
