Tu Piyawadee and Mavin Reveal the Journey to Having Nong Miaomii and a Strange Story About Visiting the Tiger God Shrine to Pray for a Child

When Win Mavin & Tu Piyawadee appeared on the Club Friday Show produced by CHANGE2561, they shared the moments and challenges they faced before having "Nong Miaomii." They truly wanted her to be born and revealed their devotion to sacred rituals, doing everything possible to have "Nong Miaomii." P.S. From now on, many parents will surely flock to the Tiger God Shrine! “Mavin” shared a cautionary tale urging family violence to end with his generation. He recalled being hit by his father and having to crawl away, describing the violence he endured as a child. Because he experienced so many hardships, he understands that “happiness” is incredibly easy to find.

What was it like to have Nong Miaomii?

Tu Piyawadee: I underwent IVF a total of nine times.

The process was not easy at all. I’m actually very afraid of needles.

Tu Piyawadee: I was so scared that my veins constricted. The procedure required many self-injections. At first, they said my husband should help.

Mavin Taweepol: I didn’t dare—I would faint. I had to battle the fear every time I went for venom extraction. Nurses were always around, and I was embarrassed when mistakes happened sometimes.

What made you feel like you should keep trying?

Tu Piyawadee: A fortune teller said it would definitely happen but had to be before September. Coincidentally, my assistant told me that the Tiger God Shrine had seen our video clip and said we were doing everything wrong. They wanted us to come again. When we went to pay respects, the shrine’s representatives told my assistant it was definite. They said they saw a little girl following us, so we left the shrine that day knowing the baby’s gender.

Is the Tiger God Shrine always crowded?

Tu Piyawadee: Only once a year, just one day per year.

Was there violence in Mavin’s family?

Mavin Taweepol: I hope everything that happened to me ends with my generation. What my father did to me was so severe that I sometimes wondered if he was really my dad. I had to crawl away and was dragged back. This happened when I was a child. I was hit hard, and even struck with rebar; the movie depiction isn’t exaggerated.

Because he experienced so many hardships, he understands that “happiness” is so easy to find?

Tu Piyawadee: Many people ask why I’m with Mavin. Honestly, I could have chosen many others. He’s someone who seems to take everything lightly. He’s a person who finds happiness easily. Once I learned about his childhood, I understood—he had endured very heavy hardships.

Mavin Taweepol: Just waking up and walking to eat at the curry rice market makes me extremely happy. People often criticize me, saying I always give glowing reviews and everything tastes good. Have you ever had just rice with fish sauce, chili, and a single piece of sausage and still felt full? Have you ever slept every night in fear, not knowing who might come to collect debts, and knowing you could die at home? Have you ever woken up to be hit by your father? If you’ve been through what I have, you’ll understand that happiness is incredibly easy to find.
