This year’s Songkran festival invites everyone to celebrate the Thai New Year with intense, non-stop fun and excitement over four full days and nights. PMCU, in partnership with "Coca-Cola," presents Songkran Siam 2026 to continue the grand Thai cultural tradition. This year’s theme is "WATERLAND, the urban water park," transforming Siam Square into a water park and amusement area full of excitement. Visitors won’t just splash water—they’ll experience the atmosphere of a vibrant water park with various water play zones, catering to all ages and nationalities, both Thai and international tourists. This modern take on Songkran is a white celebration—no nudity, no powder, no alcohol, and safe water play. The event includes many special highlight activities.
Special highlight activities at the event
A special highlight is the concert stage, which is a must-see! Songkran Siam is well-known for its concerts, and this year features a huge main stage.
From 12-14 April, there will be concerts to share happiness and fun with a large lineup of artists including DICE, ALTER, LAZYLOXY, SAMBLACK, INC MATAWEE, the band MEAN, bamm, the band FLI:P Wizzle, NEVONE, COSMOS SUN, CYGNUS, AB Group Trainee, CHiLLiZ, JoaNine - Khaimoog, Pai – Golf, Oat – Earth, Aom – Fok, Leng-Arm, Praifa – Bible, Best-Big, and many more who will entertain throughout the event.
Additionally, Chulalongkorn University students will perform on stage, featuring the bands Petra and Wrapp, culminating with a DJ set. This year promises full-throttle fun!
On 15 April, water play will be free all day, along with special activities and fun booths from sponsors. The excitement continues with a Random Dance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Another highlight is the “Siam Hom Sabai” fashion show led by Khun Kaimuk Sonsorat, Miss Thailand Runner-up 2022 from Step1 Model Thailand, showcasing stylish traditional Thai beauty in the heart of Siam Square.
The festival’s security measures are emphasized due to high tourist interest; last year’s attendance reached 1.3 million people. Safety is a top priority, maintaining the concept of a 'white Songkran'—respectful water play without nudity, powder, alcohol, or high-pressure water guns. Security personnel will patrol and ensure safety throughout Siam Square.
For guardians accompanying children, wristbands will be provided to write names and phone numbers, so in case of separation, staff can contact guardians at the event’s command center for reunification.
Most importantly, visitors are advised to travel via the BTS Skytrain to Siam Station for the easiest access, avoiding parking hassles and allowing immediate immersion in the water festivities upon arrival.
This is a comprehensive, fun-filled Songkran event all in one place. Join PMCU and “Coca-Cola” for Songkran Siam 2026, transforming Siam Square into "WATERLAND, the urban water park," from 12–15 April 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Siam Square, with free admission throughout the festival.
