Pa Choos Fiery Live Defense of Ball Chernyim Reveals Truth Behind Neng Mengjais Funeral and Missing Envelope Money

A drama erupted immediately after Ice, the wife of Neng Mengjai, a recently deceased comedian, posted a message hinting at drama, saying, “The event is over, so stop pretending. Don’t push me, I don’t want to do this.” This sparked hot debate online, with netizens linking the drama to several famous comedians, including Ball Chernyim and Yuri, Ball’s wife, as well as the couple Chok Rodhae and Nut Jutarat.

Although Ice later apologized to Ball Chernyim and affirmed that he was not involved, the comedy community reacted strongly, upset that Ball was unknowingly dragged into the controversy. Despite Ice’s apology, some people had already formed a negative opinion of Ball.

Meanwhile, Pa Choo Wat Saewat, who helped with the funeral from start to finish, posted the following:

“From 4:30 a.m. until after the Buddhist ceremony, six of us traveled together. We didn’t eat... we were hungry... but nobody ever asked me if I had eaten or needed anything. If it weren’t for my sister, I wouldn’t have called. Went hungry until the event ended. Ha ha.”

He then posted, “It’ll be great if I can 'clear the air.' I’m not picky... but I agree that 32,000 baht is a noticeable amount. Ha ha.”

And, “I’m so frustrated, I want to speak up. My brother Ball Chernyim worked behind the scenes on everything. A good man who loves his friends shouldn’t have to endure such loud drama. I truly think it’s unfair to him... When I speak, it’s loud because I was there every day helping with the funeral, knowing everything. Whether I choose to speak or not. When I can’t take it anymore, the whole social media will shake. This photo is from the cremation day after we packed up and helped the temple, then took the team to eat before going home.”

Afterward, Pa Choo went live to address the issue, saying:

- I was helping for seven days, from the first day until the cremation. My brother Ball Chernyim truly worked behind the scenes from the day we received the body.

- I handled everything related to the funeral—from bringing my boxing gym team to clean the temple, helping the monk arrange the venue, buying all funeral necessities, to pouring water over the body. We did it because Neng was like family to us. I’ve known Neng for 10 years and Ball for 20 years.

- I can boldly say that Ball covered all the expenses behind the scenes. I sent friends to buy things, and Ball transferred the money to me. That’s the truth.

- On Neng’s cremation day, from 4:30 a.m., I personally drove to pick up Neng’s nephew to ordain as a novice monk at Sai Mai temple, then waited for relatives to conduct the 7-day merit-making ceremony. But by 9:30 a.m., no one had arrived, so there were no offerings prepared for the monks.

- By 9:30 a.m., the Sangha donations still hadn’t been purchased, so I had my team drive out to buy them. JJ said he would help with the money, but I told him no—that part should be paid by the father, who then brought the money.

- Pa Choo said he personally carried hundreds of wreaths to arrange the cremation platform, coordinated with the crematorium workers, and that Ball directed everything from behind the scenes. If Robert Saikwan’s funeral was well done, Neng Mengjai’s had to be the same—done well.

- Pa Choo said he didn’t eat because the food ran out, and the one who transferred money to buy food was Yuri, Ball’s wife. She asked if the team, staff, and crematorium workers had eaten, and ordered food, drinks, and M-150 energy drinks for them.

- I feel this is unfair to someone who spent money and time. Ball had to cancel other jobs. Do you know how much he cried? Yet drama was thrown at him. Every ten minutes, both Yuri and Ball Chernyim called to check on arrangements.

- If you post, name the person who has an issue with you or is causing drama. Name them once and for all. If I speak now, there will be no place for them. I don’t want to speak out, but this has gone too far.

- Additionally, Pa Choo spoke about Neng Mengjai’s two daughters, Guitar and Penny, saying the children don’t need money—they haven’t received a single baht—but just want to see their father off. They have no rights or say.

- Pa Choo also talked about the funeral donation money, saying when they opened the donation box, it was shocking. Thousands of people helped, but only 32,000 baht was inside. His boss gave 50,000 baht and his boss’s mother added another 20,000 baht, totaling 70,000 baht.

- If I hadn’t posted, it would have ended quietly. I also heard that Neng didn’t want a big event like this, which made me feel like we were meddling.

- I’m speaking out because I feel sorry for Ball Chernyim, Jazz Chuan Chuen, and Nai The Comedian. Everyone in the comedy community and the team helped with love and dedication, never thinking about money. Whether it was Na Mam, Jok Mok, or P' Chet Chernyim, everyone gave their all.

- Pa Choo said Yuri, Ball Chernyim’s wife, called and promised to fully support Neng’s grandchildren’s education and would handle everything.

- Pa Choo said he spoke out because he was there from the first day until the last, even being the last to pack up to return items to the temple.
