Baitoey Rsiam Shares Her Time in Prison, Grateful to Two Entertainment Figures Who Cared for Her

After Baitoey Rsiam or Baitoey Sutheewan was detained at Central Women's Correctional Institution awaiting judgment for 6 months and 6 days in the Forex-3D Ponzi scheme case, before being granted temporary bail. Later, the Criminal Court acquitted her on 26 Dec 2024 due to insufficient evidence and unclear financial links.

Baitoey has since returned to life with her child and family, focusing only on her child and work. Recently, she opened up on the YouTube show "Kon Lom Look," hosted by Aun Phuwanat.

At one point, Aun asked Baitoey how she felt about being inside. Baitoey said she found true friends like never before, and the person who cared for her well was the mother of an actor and an actress. She praised the actor's mother as a great benefactor.

"Inside, officially called Central Women's Correctional Institution, we live like a family. The women there have strong, resilient spirits, enduring each day. I made true friends like never before in my life. I didn’t know or care about anyone’s case or background."

"I stayed in the same room with the actor's mother and an actress involved in an online gambling case." "The actress's mother was the greatest benefactor to me. She taught me from morning till night. She told me to drink water as soon as I woke up and exercise. My room had 12 people who exercised together. We made time every day to keep busy and make time pass quickly."

"I admit to being depressed—everyone there was depressed. Everyone had psychological issues. The majority of cases were drug-related, about 80%, mostly because of their spouses."

When asked if she ever blamed anyone, Baitoey said, "Very rarely. I always said at court and when we first met, I blamed and resented no one. My brother Man was angry at everyone, including the CEO. I kept saying don’t blame anyone. Life is just like this. I don’t want anyone, including those close to me, to harbor hatred because it doesn’t make bad things better."

"While inside, I had no hope of getting out, but I believed justice would come for the innocent. That was all I knew—I just wanted justice to reach me soon."

"I didn’t let my child visit, although visits were allowed. At that time, I couldn’t accept people seeing me like that. No matter how much I missed my child, we received letters from relatives daily, taking turns reading them with tears. Seeing my child’s hand in the photos was unbearable. I had to get out to see my child—I fought with everything to get out and see them."
