Famous couple Songkran Techatorn and Mind Napasasi Surawan appeared together for an open interview on the show “Superstar Adventures,” celebrating the show's 10th anniversary. The couple took host Nicky Nachat Chanthaphan on a tour of Bonanza Khao Yai before discussing their love life.
When asked who made the first move, Songkran said he did. He recounted that at the time, he was having dinner with seniors who were friends. When they first met, Mind was very lively after drinking alcohol—not just dancing but even doing somersaults. Nicky was stunned and asked if he wasn’t scared. Songkran admitted he was initially surprised too. They started chatting through friends and eventually began messaging each other, which led to their relationship.
Nicky asked Mind if she knew Songkran was courting her when he first DM’d her. Mind said she didn’t, and at first, she hesitated to respond because he was much older. She viewed him as Songkran the person, not as a potential boyfriend. Upon meeting, it was different from the rumors; he was straightforward and uncomplicated. When asked if friends warned her, she said there were some cautions, but being mature, she listened but decided to see for herself.
Asked who is more jealous, both said they aren’t very jealous. Nicky asked if Songkran was jealous of Mind; she said no. Songkran said he’s more concerned than jealous. Mind added that early on, he worried about her wild antics when drinking and sometimes made sure she got home safely. Songkran joked that he is actually jealous but she behaves as if she’s not.
When Nicky asked how long they have been dating, Songkran said, “3 years, going into the 4th year. Maybe by the next time we film, we might have a child.” Mind immediately responded, “Wow, you’re tempting fate! Oh no!” Nicky teased, “Here we go, another headline coming.”
Nicky asked Mind about her recent egg preservation. Mind confirmed, “Yes, because, Nicky, if a woman consults a doctor, by age 35, egg quantity declines, so I thought it’s okay to preserve them even though there’s no immediate plan.” Nicky joked to both, “Whenever you’re ready, you’ll have the healthiest eggs. I was just talking to Mind; she asked if I want children. I’m indifferent, but when I asked Mind, she said Songkran wants children (laughs).”
When Nicky asked about wedding plans, Songkran said, “Well, it’s okay, I’ve started thinking about it.” Mind replied, “No plans yet. I feel that if we do have a family one day, I want it to be when we’re still strong enough to build a family, raise children, live life, and grow together like friends—like me and my mother, who is like a sister.” When the crew asked if they plan to marry within three years, Songkran and Mind said, “About that, plus or minus.”
