Fans were truly surprised when many saw on Pleng Chanthida Asawame's Instagram story that she posted a photo together with Pek Seranee Charnveerakul, the son of Anutin Charnveerakul, at the merit-making ceremony marking the third anniversary of the passing of Ae Chansawad Asawame, Pleng's father. The photo showed Pleng and Pek together with friends. Pleng reposted it with the caption, "Thank you for coming to the event. Dad must surely be smiling down from heaven." Pek also reposted the photo. Additionally, there was a picture of Pek with Pleng's relatives.
Although their wedding was called off, it is believed their bond remains unchanged and they continue to be good friends. Pleng has also revealed that she still keeps her wedding dress.
