It became a hugely dramatic topic when Pa Chu Wat Sewat, the close elder brother of Ball Chuenyim, told a tale about P' Keng and Nong Saran, his wife. He said he had never acted before and invited everyone to watch the play. Then he spoke in character as Keng, saying, “Hello, I’m on my way to record the show ‘Come On In.’ After recording, they’ll call me, okay? Bye-bye, love you.”
Pa Chu continued, saying time passed—1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours—then he pretended to make a phone call and said, “The number you’ve dialed is currently unreachable. Huh, why isn’t my wife answering? I’ll try calling again.” But the call couldn’t connect again. “Why is my wife mad at me? What should I do now?”
Then Pa Chu pretended to call someone else and said, “Hello, I’ll try to find my wife first. She’s not answering at all. I don’t know where Saran disappeared to, not coming home for 2-3 days. I don’t know how to find her. Her phone is off, and she’s not at home. I really don’t know what to do.”
Pa Chu continued, saying that after seven days passed, Keng decided to call Saran again and said, “Hello, Saran answered! So glad. Hello, dear, why haven’t you come home? If you come back, we’ll register our marriage as a gift to comfort you. So, Keng must register, right? Okay, I agree to register. Okay, come home tomorrow and we’ll register together. Love you, muah!”
Then Pa Chu narrated, “After that day, Keng and Saran went to register their marriage. It got even crazier. Dear, what do you think? You have to let her be your manager, right? Oh no, Saran can’t be the manager. She can’t because the work is systematized. What to do? How about this? Saran said 1-2-3-4, Nang—oh! Keng doesn’t know what to do, because he loves his wife and also loves his friend.”
“In the end, Keng didn’t know what to do. He asked, ‘Dear, can you quit the show “Come On In” right away? I’ll be the manager myself.’ ‘Quit?’ ‘Can you be a manager?’ ‘Yes, why not? My phone, Facebook, everything—I’ll handle it. You don’t need to perform. I’ll perform instead. Okay?’”
“Okay, if you can do that, I’ll quit ‘Come On In.’ And so it was. In the end, I had to quit the show ‘Come On In’ because of one woman—for Nong Saran.”
After Pa Chu shared this story live, many social media users criticized and shared the clip online, linking it to the late comedian Neng Mengjai, who is currently involved in various controversies.
Additionally, Pa Chu posted a message about the character “Keng” from his story, saying, “‘Keng’ accepts everything, no drama please. Let’s help my niece first.”
